Name: Thomas Aaron Dalton Date: December 18th, 1935 - October 28th, 2009 Obituary: THOMAS AARON DALTON Jr. 73 of Lenox Township, Michigan died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Mr. Dalton was born December 18, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Thomas and Mildred (Lefler) Dalton. He married Joanne Daunt in Richmond on January 9, 1965. Tom graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1953 and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a metal finisher for Chrysler Corporation and drove school bus in New Haven until 1998. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Richmond and served as leader of the Men’s Club. He was a member of the New Haven American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, sons and daughters-in-law, John Thomas and Deborah of Lake Orion, Stephen Paul and Karen of Ray Township and Mark Aaron and Annette of Alexandria, VA., his sister, Charlotte and Robert Gilespie of Accokeek, Maryland and grandchildren, Sean, Sarah, Alexis, Abbey, Amanda, Kyle, Max, Clay and Benjamin Dalton. He was preceded in death by an infant son, James Adam Dalton. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Janice Griffith, priest at Community of Christ Church will officiate. Visiting will be on Thursday from 6 to 8pm, Friday from 3 to 8pm and Saturday from 10 to 11am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Community of Christ Church.
