Obituary:
THOMAS ALBIN age 58 of Casco Township died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in his home. Mr. Albin was born April 13, 1950 in Detroit to the late Branislaus and Bernida (Rusk) Albin. He married Jill Reynolds in Mount Clemens, Michigan on June 3, 1989. Tom graduated from Shrine of the Little Flower High School in Royal Oak with the class of 1968. He retired as a police officer with the Clinton Township Police Department in 2005 after twenty-five years service. Tom also served as a reserve officer in Royal Oak and Berkley. He and his wife owned and operated T & J Graphics in Casco and was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, the F.O.P. Lodge #112, N.R.A., Richmond Moose Lodge and Richmond Chamber of Commerce where he served on the Board of Directors. He enjoyed shooting, bowling and camping. He is survived by his wife, Jill, children, Joshua Kruger of Richmond, Stefan Albin of Casco and Laura (David Foerster) Albin of Brighton, CO., siblings, John Albin of Milan, Genevie Losey of Fort Gratiot and Vicki and Lori Albin. Visiting will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A funeral service will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Bert Thompson, pastor of St. Luke Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.
