Obituary:
Alexandria Zoyes, 88 of Richmond died Monday, March 16, 2009 in Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. She was born in Constantinople on February 28, 1921 to the late Ernest and Pauline (Kotiadis) Patrick. She married Gus Zoyes on November 16, 1941. Mrs. Zoyes was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, crafts, shopping, gardening and mostly spending time with her family. She is survived by her children William (Christine) Zoyes of Shelby Township and Pamela Lutes of Troy, sister Olga (John) Loizon of Birmingham, grandchildren, William (Cheryl Berklich) Zoyes of Phoenix, AZ, Dean (Aimee) Zoyes of Grosse Pointe Farms, and Michael Lutes of Royal Oak, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gus Zoyes and brother Costa Patrick. A funeral service will be Friday, March 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Greek Orthodox Church, Sterling Heights. Fr. Nicholas Kyritses will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit. Visiting will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the church. Memorial donation may be directed towards the wishes of the family.
